The name Reisla comes from an old Icelandic word for a special scale that had a long shaft and one weight. That's the connection to my logo.

 

The idea came to me when I was looking for a good word related to balance. Finding the right balance is a big part of my work because I help people finding their balance point that moves them towards greater well-being in their own life.

 

I thought it was amusing that this was not an ordinary scale that looked like it was in perfect balance, but an unconventional scale that only has one weight. For me it is a connection to the fact that life can be so variable and there are many ways to reach balance but we have to find and choose a way that suits us.
